If you’ve been spending any time in Black Ops 7 lately, you’ve probably had those moments where you just want solid loot without dealing with players sprint‑jumping around every corner, and that’s why the Plant Spore Easter Egg on Ashes of the Damned ends up being such a nice break, especially when you run it inside a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby because it lets you relax a bit while still stacking high‑tier gear.

    Finding the Fumigator
The whole loop starts with grabbing a Fumigator, which is one of those items players always scramble for in normal matches. You’ll usually spot it around places like Vandon Farm or the plaza near Janus Towers, but in regular lobbies you’re basically racing the entire server for the same can. In a bot match you don’t feel that pressure, so you can sweep through Ashwood or the lake area at your own pace and pick one up without someone sliding in to rob it.

    Hunting Down the Spores
Once you’ve got the Fumigator, you start watching for those small green spore plants. They pop up in different spots every round, so you get used to checking alleys, side paths, and those weird little corners most people ignore. It becomes second nature after a few runs, though sometimes one still hides behind a crate and throws you off.

    Triggering the Lockdown
Spraying the plant kicks off a thirty‑second lockdown, and that’s the part that usually turns messy in public games. The plant lights up, the zombies swarm, and if your squad isn’t paying attention the whole thing melts in seconds. Bots hit way softer, so the whole defense phase feels calmer. You can actually think, reposition, reload, all that stuff without someone yelling they’re down for the fifth time.

    Looting the Reward
If the plant survives, it shifts to a purple glow and bursts into a pile of loot. You’ll get essence and salvage for sure, but the drops get way more interesting once you’ve learned how to boost the quality. The basic version gives you decent rewards, but nothing that’ll make you grin.

    Boosting Drops with Toxic Growth
The trick that changes everything is dropping Toxic Growth on the plant before you spray it. Once I started doing that, the difference was wild. Purple gear, gold gear, tools, crystals — stuff that normally takes ages to farm. It’s the kind of upgrade that makes you wonder why you didn’t try it sooner.

    A Way Easier Grind
Running the Easter Egg like this lets you dodge the chaos of random teammates and focus completely on farming, and doing it inside a BO7 Bot Lobby keeps the whole loop smoother and way less stressful.
